Current VoyaFare website status

Online bookings, ticket issuance and payment-card checkout are not active on VoyaFare's website at present. Completing our current preview cannot create a paid VoyaFare reservation, so there is no website payment to refund or reservation to cancel.

When you book with a supplier

If you purchase travel from an airline, hotel, cruise line, shipping carrier or other ticketing partner, confirm the company that takes payment and issues the reservation. That provider's contractual terms govern changes, cancellations, fees and refunds. Contact the booking issuer first using its official channels and keep your confirmation number, receipt, fare rules and correspondence.

Promotional and discounted fare restrictions

A promotional or basic fare may be nonrefundable, may prohibit voluntary changes, or may allow an exchange only if you pay a change penalty, any travel-agency service charge disclosed before purchase, and the fare difference. Policies vary by airline, fare family, itinerary, issuing provider and booking channel; we cannot assign final cancellation or exchange terms to VoyaFare's three calculated promotional inquiry targets because those targets are not confirmed airline tickets.

Before payment, request the exact written fare rules for the actual ticket being offered, including cancel/change deadlines, fees, remaining ticket value or travel-credit eligibility, no-show consequences and the issuing provider. A nonrefundable label does not override any refund rights that apply by law when the airline cancels or significantly changes a flight.

Does a 24-hour cancellation or hold period apply?

For certain tickets bought directly from an airline at least seven days before departure, U.S. Department of Transportation rules generally require the airline to offer either a 24-hour free hold or a 24-hour penalty-free cancellation/refund option. The airline need not offer both options, and this airline-specific rule does not automatically apply to bookings made through travel agents or online travel agencies. No general 48-hour cancellation promise is made by VoyaFare. Some providers may voluntarily provide additional rights; ask the actual issuer what applies before paying. See the U.S. DOT ticket-buying guidance.

Questions to ask before paying

Schedule changes and traveler rights

Where the relevant U.S. rules apply, customers who decline alternative arrangements after an airline cancellation or significant schedule change may be owed a refund even on a ticket sold as nonrefundable. Eligibility and responsibility for issuing a refund depend on the actual transaction and merchant of record. See the official U.S. DOT refund guidance.

Applicable protections depend on the route, operating airline, booking circumstances and governing law. Consult the issuing provider and authoritative passenger-rights information rather than assuming every refund rule applies to every itinerary. Do not send bank account numbers or payment-card credentials to unverified contacts.
