Begin with one clear group itinerary
Organizing a trip for several travelers takes more than finding individual seats at the lowest displayed price. Start by noting all departure cities, preferred arrival airport, dates, group size, the number of children or infants, baggage needs and any accessibility requirements. A clear request can make it easier to compare itinerary types and supplier offers.
What affects a group quote?
- Actual flight inventory: seats shown on a retail search do not mean the same fare is available for every traveler.
- Travel flexibility: shifting departures by a day, dividing the group between flights or comparing nearby airports might affect options, but can create separate-journey risks.
- Supplier rules: group deposits, deadlines, changes, name corrections, infant policies and baggage vary considerably.
- Arrival logistics: airport transfers, hotel rooms, vehicle needs and long layovers may change the overall value of an itinerary.
Traveling with children or infants? Our child and infant international airfare guide explains why adult, teenager, child and lap-infant fares, taxes and accompanying-adult rules must be checked separately for the actual airline itinerary.
Before any commitment
Ask the ticketing provider for written details showing each fare component, applicable taxes, passenger-name deadlines, cancellation rules, deposit schedule, balance due, ticketing deadline, and who will actually issue the tickets. For separately booked flights, confirm who is responsible if a missed connection disrupts the journey.
VoyaFare's website does not hold group seats or collect group deposits. We can help you prepare the right details for a phone conversation, while all final inventory and prices depend on approved suppliers.
